Wye Section Hikes

The Wye is 136 miles long from source and offers some great sections to hike. Some are lowland and wooded whereas others are a little higher with fantastic views.

Border Walks

Getting deeper into the Wye region explore what's on the border of England & Wales an area steeped in history and full of wild beauty.

Woodland

Throughout the catchment woodland and forest pepper the land. Here we explore deciduous as well as conifer plantation. Both have their unique appeal.

Mountains

The Wye is home to numerous mountain ranges from the Black Mountains through to the Cambrian Mountains. In addition there is the Radnor Forest, which rises to 660 metres. The Wye is more than just Tintern and Symonds Yat.

Waterfalls & Lakes

It's all about water here. The Wye catchment is home to some great waterfalls and lakes. Explore some well known as well as some less well known falls and lakes. There are some real gems tucked away.

Nature Reserves

The Wye basin has a plethora of incredible reserves managed by various wildlife trusts and other bodies. Click the link to explore some of the catchments natural wonders some of which are due to glacial retreat.
